If you’re looking for a change from the traditional tomato-based pizza sauce, this is your sign to try white garlic pizza sauce! This is a flavorful, creamy, and easy-to-make pizza sauce that will bring a beautiful garlic taste to your ‘za!

This garlic pizza sauce is my go-to when I want big flavor with very little effort. It comes together in about 10 minutes and has a rich, savory garlic punch that instantly makes any pizza night feel special—especially when it’s spread over my favorite homemade pizza dough .
Instead of roasting garlic, I sauté finely minced cloves in butter until fragrant, which gives the sauce a deeper, more robust garlic flavor in a fraction of the time. It’s a quicker take on the roasted garlic sauce I use on my butternut squash pizza , and it delivers the same cozy, savory payoff. A bit of flour and milk turn it silky and spreadable, and a final whisk of freshly grated parmesan adds body and depth before it’s ready to slather on and top however you like.

Pizza toppings that go well with white garlic sauce
Pizza night’s here, you’ve made your dough and white sauce and now it’s time for toppings. Here are some options that pair nicely with this creamy garlic sauce:
- Fresh arugula or basil
- Mozzarella or goat cheese
- Sauteed mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers
- Cooked sausage or chicken
- Caramelized onions
How to store
Let the sauce cool, then store it in a covered container in the fridge; it will last about 5 days. I don’t recommend freezing this sauce as it may separate when thawed.
