This vibrant red raspberry martini is sweet, tart, and bursting with berry flavor. It’s vodka and fresh lemon juice shaken over ice with our easy homemade raspberry simple syrup. It’s perfect for special occasions, and takes just 15 minutes to make!

This raspberry martini is sweet, fruity, and beautifully vibrant, with a bright red hue that makes it feel instantly celebratory. I keep it simple by skipping flavored liqueurs altogether and leaning on a homemade raspberry simple syrup instead, which gives the drink a clean, fresh berry flavor balanced by smooth vodka and a splash of lemon juice for zing.
The raspberry simple syrup is easy to make ahead by simmering raspberries with sugar and water, then straining and chilling it until you’re ready to mix. When it’s cocktail time, I shake vodka, raspberry syrup, and fresh lemon juice with ice until icy cold, then strain it into martini glasses and finish with a skewer of fresh raspberries. It’s quick, unfussy, and looks stunning every single time.
This is one of those cocktails that wins people over after the first sip. It’s perfect for patio sipping, celebrations (think Valenitne’s Day and birthdays), dessert drinks, or a cozy night in when you feel like making something a little special—especially when you want big flavor without a complicated ingredient list.

How do I make a big batch of raspberry martini?
If you’re hosting and want to make a big batch of raspberry martini, use cups instead of ounces. Stir it all in a pitcher with ice and then strain it into martini glasses. The recipe for the homemade raspberry syrup makes about 1 cup.
How long does leftover raspberry syrup last in the fridge?
Store any leftover raspberry syrup in a sealed mason jar or container in the fridge for 2-3 weeks!
Can I use raspberry vodka?
Sure! It will add even more raspberry flavor to your martini!
