Prosciutto Wrapped Peaches next to burrata on a dinner plate - 1

The secret to these prosciutto-wrapped peaches is the BBQ. Peaches on their own are incredible when grilled; now imagine how they taste when you blanket them with delicate, perfectly cured prosciutto! The prosciutto gets all nice and crispy, the perfect balance to the soft, sweet grilled peaches. My, oh my! You’re in for a treat!

These are the absolute best when peaches are in season, which in North America is in July, August, and September. Nothing beats fresh, sweet, juicy peaches!

How to use prosciutto wrapped peaches

What to serve with grilled prosciutto wrapped peaches

My goodness things are about to get delicious at your house! Here’s a few ideas of what to serve with your grilled peaches:

  • Main dishes : since you’ll have the grill on, try this grilled mustard chicken or this grilled salmon sandwich recipe. These prosciutto wrapped peaches would be a nice starter to a summer fresh spaghetti or these honey garlic pork chops .
  • With other appetizers: If you’re serving all appetizers for a party, the grilled peaches can be served alongside some party shrimp , pesto hummus , and steak lettuce wraps .

Can I use frozen peaches?

Frozen peaches turn quite soft once they thaw, so we don’t recommend using them for this recipe.

Can I use bacon instead of prosciutto?

If you’d like to use bacon instead, make sure that it is thin-cut bacon. Thick cut is hard to wrap around the peaches. Also, you’ll want to pre-cook the bacon for several minutes before you wrap the peaches. That way the bacon will crisp up nicely on the BBQ.

Do I have to serve these grilled peaches with burrata?

Nope! While we love the combination, they’re delicious on their own, too.
