Here’s a peanut butter granola that tastes like a treat. It’s easy to make using mostly pantry ingredients, such as rolled oats, peanut butter, honey, and chocolate chips. It’s the perfect make-ahead breakfast for busy weekdays, and it’s ready in under an hour.

We’ve been making homemade granola for as long as we can remember. It’s so much tastier than I’ve been making homemade granola for as long as I can remember, and this peanut butter chocolate chip version is one I come back to again and again. It’s sweet, deeply satisfying, and so much better than anything from the store, with that classic peanut butter and chocolate combo everyone loves.
I like to keep the pantry stocked so I can make it whenever I have a spare hour. Most of the time is hands-off while it bakes, which makes it perfect for multitasking or sneaking in a little downtime. Rolled oats, peanuts, natural peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), oil, and vanilla combine into large, crunchy clusters that bake up beautifully.
Once it’s cooled, I stir in dark chocolate chips and use it throughout the week. It’s great with milk or yogurt, sprinkled over fruit or smoothie bowls, or eaten by the handful. I’ll pack it for hikes, tuck it into lunchboxes, or gift it to friends—it keeps well and always disappears fast.

How to store
How do I store granola? Store it in a sealed container in a cool, dark cupboard. I like storing granola in large Mason jars as theyre easy to pour from.
How long does granola keep? When stored properly, granola will keep for at least a month.
