This bright and flavorful orange sesame dressing is perfect for all your Asian-inspired salads. With fresh mandarin juice, honey, garlic, ginger, and tahini, it’s a delicious balance of tart, sweet, and creamy. It only takes 5 minutes to make and will liven up your salads all week long!

This orange sesame ginger dressing has been a total game-changer in my kitchen. It’s creamy, flavorful, and somehow makes even the simplest slaw feel exciting. I love how versatile it is, too — sometimes I’ll add a little extra tahini to thicken it up and use it as a dip for salad rolls or crispy chicken. And even when I’m not short on time, I still appreciate how quickly it comes together.
The flavor hits that perfect sweet-and-savory balance, it’s made with real ingredients, and it honestly makes me want to eat more salad. You just add everything to a jar, give it a good shake, and you’re done. It works beautifully with crunchy cabbage slaws, leafy greens, and even this noodle salad . On busy days, I’ll grab a bagged cabbage mix, ditch the packet dressing, and use this instead — instant upgrade.
It keeps well for up to 10 days, so leftovers never go to waste. I’ve used it as a veggie dip, a drizzle for grain bowls, a marinade for fish or chicken, and even spooned it over fresh spring rolls. A sprinkle of white or black sesame seeds at the end adds a little texture and makes it extra pretty, too.
