These Italian dressing pork chops are the best of all possible worlds: big on flavor and incredibly easy to make. With just five ingredients, tender pork chops are topped with a crunchy panko- and Parmesan-crumb coating for a satisfying, family-friendly meal.

Italian dressing makes a great marinade for pork chops because the lemon and vinegar help tenderize the meat. I prefer my homemade Italian dressing , which is packed with herbs and bright flavor, but a store-bought oil-and-vinegar dressing works, too—just skip anything creamy. The longer the pork chops marinate, the more tender they’ll be, but if you’re short on time, even letting them sit while the oven preheats makes a difference.

How I like to serve these

To keep the theme going, I’ll sometimes serve these with the dressing poured over crisp greens with my Italian dressing potatoes on the side.

I also love serving these pork chops with a side of roasted garlic mashed potatoes (you can pour the bit of sauce/dressing in the pan over the potatoes) and a classic Caesar salad .
