This Greek seasoning blend is made in minutes using pantry-staple spices. It’s an easy way to add authentic Greek flavor to all of your recipes!

I love making my own spice blends because they save money, skip the additives found in store-bought versions, and let me customize the flavor exactly how I like it.
This Greek seasoning is especially delicious on chicken, fish, and roasted vegetables. When I need a quick dinner, I sprinkle it over chicken and chopped veggies on a baking sheet, then pop everything into the oven. Having a good spice blend on hand makes weeknight cooking feel effortless.
Just like my Italian seasoning , this Greek seasoning is a pantry staple. And when I run out, it’s easy to mix up a fresh batch using just seven simple spices.

Recipes to use Greek seasoning
Greek seasoning is a wonderfully versatile spice blend. You can use it to add a Mediterranean flair to all of your recipes. It also works very well in place of Italian seasoning!
Chicken – Use 2 tablespoons per pound of meat – it will look like a lot! Try it on our baked chicken thighs or baked chicken breast , omitting the spices (but not the salt!) listed in those recipes and using this instead.
Fish – This spice blend is great on both salmon and white fish. Sprinkle a tablespoon on our lemon garlic baked fish !
Roasted Vegetables – Toss 2 pounds of chopped root vegetables with oil, salt, and 2 tablespoons of this Greek seasoning blend and roast them at 420 Fahrenheit for about 35-40 minutes.
Rice – Add 1 tablespoon of this spice blend per 1 cup of uncooked rice. Add it to the pot when you add the water and it will give your rice a wonderful flavor.
Marinade – Try a Greek version of our lemon garlic chicken marinade by omitting the spices listed in the recipe and adding 2 tablespoons of this Greek seasoning blend instead. Don’t forget to add salt!
Dip – Mix 2 teaspoons plus a pinch of salt into 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt and let it sit in your fridge for an hour for the spices to soften.
