Creamy Cajun chicken is an easy, delicious dinner recipe made with tender, Cajun-spiced chicken breast and a rich cream sauce.

This creamy Cajun chicken recipe is inspired by my popular chicken lazone , another creamy chicken dish. This spicy version comes together in just 25 minutes. It’s simple, comforting, and always a hit at the dinner table.
I coat chicken breasts in Cajun seasoning, pan-fry them until golden, then sauté a little garlic in the same pan before adding cream. As the sauce simmers, it thickens into something rich and irresistible. Fair warning: you may find yourself sneaking spoonfuls straight from the pan.
Another creamy, spicy dinner you may also enjoy is my creamy Cajun salmon .

What to serve with creamy Cajun chicken
- Add some penne, spaghetti, or whatever shape you love to turn this into creamy cajun chicken pasta. There is plenty of sauce to pour over the pasta!
- The sauce is also tasty spooned over basmati rice or cauliflower rice .
- With steamed or roasted broccoli .
- On a big bed of spinach for a light lunch.
- Or slice some crusty sourdough to dip in the sauce. Yum!
Store and reheat leftovers
Cooked chicken will keep for 3-4 days in your fridge. Reheat it gently to prevent the chicken from becoming dry. You can add a splash of water or milk to the pan to loosen the sauce if it gets too thick.
