This bourbon eggnog is a cozy, boozy upgrade made for true eggnog lovers. With warming spices and just the right splash of bourbon, it’s rich, nostalgic, and perfect for sipping all through the holiday season.

Bourbon Eggnog next to a bottle of bourbon - 1

I truly believe there are two kinds of people in this world: those who love eggnog and those who absolutely do not. This bourbon eggnog is unapologetically for the nog lovers. It’s creamy, cozy, and full of those soul-warming flavors—cinnamon, nutmeg, and just enough bourbon to add depth and warmth without overpowering the glass.

I’ve made this with both homemade eggnog and store-bought, and honestly, both work beautifully. The bourbon brings notes of vanilla and caramel that slip right into the richness of the eggnog, while a light dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg enhances what’s already there. It’s simple, indulgent, and exactly the kind of drink I want once the holidays roll around.

If you want to lean into the festive spirit, a cinnamon stick garnish or even a cinnamon sugar rim takes this over the top in the best way. It’s cozy, nostalgic, and a little boozy—everything a proper bourbon eggnog should be.
