Apple Pie Baked Beans in a pot - 1

It really doesn’t get better than these apple pie baked beans. Between the smoky bacon, a splash of bourbon, sweet-tart apples, and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, they’re hearty, comforting, and packed with flavor. The apples might sound like an unexpected change from classic baked beans , but they soften as they bake and add a gentle sweetness that gives a subtle nod to apple pie.

I love how easy these are to make, too. Everything comes together in one pot, which means minimal effort and even less cleanup. They’re the kind of side dish that makes you wonder why homemade baked beans aren’t on the regular rotation.

I almost always double or triple the batch because they freeze beautifully and reheat like a dream. With pantry-friendly beans, a good BBQ sauce, and a few bold, cozy flavors, these apple pie baked beans are a total winner for weeknights, potlucks, and backyard cookouts alike.
